- Two types of waves available:
*Continuous: produces constant heat on the tissue. Do not apply the spatula on the skin for too long to avoid burns. Do not work at very high power.
*Pulsed: Does not produce a heat effect on the skin, for this reason, it can be used at higher power levels. Also used for areas where the bone tissue is more prominent.
